Our Story
You were never invisible.
The name Belahroi comes from Hagar — a woman who was alone, used, mistreated, and who ran away into the wilderness. In her pain and isolation, God met her there, spoke to her, gave her direction, and reminded her that her life and her child's future still mattered. Hagar then called that place Beer Lahai Roi, saying, "You are the God who sees me." (Genesis 16:13)
Belahroi is coined from those words and that encounter — a reminder that even in the wilderness, even when a woman feels forgotten, rejected, abandoned, or alone, God sees her.
The Birth of Belahroi
After being a divorced single mum for 9 years, our founder moved through quiet cycles of hope and heartbreak, opening her heart, only to have it broken again and again. Until God, in His mercy, brought everything to a standstill. Not to punish her, but to call her.
He drew her into surrender, into consecration. In that hidden place, He met her gently. He loved her back to life. And from that healing came a mandate: to pour back into other women what she herself received.
"It was necessary for Jesus to become fully human like us so He could become a merciful and faithful High Priest before God and forgive our sins. Because Jesus Himself suffered and was tempted, He understands our pain, can relate to our struggles, and is able to help us when we go through difficult times."
